Gift  of God’s  Peace

I thought of you when I read this quote from “Jesus Listens: Daily Devotional Prayers of Peace, Joy, and Hope (the New 365-Day Prayer Book)” by Sarah Young –

“The world has it all wrong—proclaiming that peace is the result of having enough money, possessions, insurance, and security systems. Thankfully, Your Peace is such an all-encompassing gift that it is independent of circumstances. I’m learning that no matter how much I may lose, I am rich indeed if I gain Your perfect Peace. Please help me trust You enough to receive this glorious gift!”

my son loves on his son in exactly the way  I  wanted him loved on by his farther and farther  figures  growing up; it melts my heart how fast he is growing and how  much of his Dad that i can see in him
